Waterfowl Hunts
GOOSE SEASON
Season Dates:
Early Season: Opens the Thursday following Labor Day in September and runs for 10 days
Regular Season: Opens the 4th Saturday in September and closes December 28th
Eastern Ontario holds some of the largest Canada goose numbers in North America. With that being said, Canada goose hunts are our bread and butter.
The chances of success are great with such high numbers of birds while still managing bird numbers and hunting pressure.
The majority of our goose hunting is done in the fields. We scout every morning and evening. Our main goal is to put every group of hunters onto a great, safe and enjoyable hunt.
We also offer a variety of water hunting opportunities for Canada geese along local rivers, ponds and swamps.
Most of our hunts are done from Tanglefree Panelblinds, where the hunter is protected from the elements and sits comfortably on a chair and stands up to shoot. We also have layout blinds if needed.
Our prices are 300$ per person, per day/hunt. (we will afternoon hunt if the morning isn’t successful)
DUCK SEASON
Season Dates:
September 26, 2021 to January 9, 2022
Our duck numbers have decreased over time but throughout the year we have some excellent duck hunting. Directed towards smaller hunting groups early season we find some awesome woodduck and teal hunting.
Then through late November until January we do have some great duck hunting on the Rideau River and St. Lawrence River.
Our prices are 300$ per person, per day/hunt (We will afternoon hunt if the morning isn’t successful)
Turkey Hunts
Our turkey hunting is amazing in Eastern Ontario! From field hunting to hardwoods hunting, we’ve got it all. Our turkey numbers are very good with mild winters and predator control at an all time high. I’ve spent a lifetime around the eastern wild turkey, helping my father in the early 90s during the relocation and introduction of the eastern wild turkey.
Season Dates:
April 25 until May 31
Turkey hunting is a lot of work and we strive at putting the proper work into having great success Our access to plenty of hunting grounds and our knowledge of how and when the turkeys use these grounds helps us systematically pressure birds and let us know when to let other areas sit for later in the season.
Most hunts are done from either permenant or mobile ground blinds. We offer 1on1 or 2on1 client/guide hunts.
Our turkey hunting prices are 400$ for 1client/1guide and 300$ for 2client/1guide (limit is 2 birds per person, 1 bird per day)
